A Few Pages From

Our Guest Book

This is a beautiful snowy day in December. But it could be April or November so come prepared.

This picture of Mountain Laurel is very typical of our area and we are blessed to be surrounded

by some of God's greatest works. The Laurel in our parts blooms in mid May.

The Rhododendron blooms just in time for the 4th of July.

Here are some good pictures of our area.

The large Laurel bush is outside our bedroom window at our house on West Buffalo Creek.

This email we received from a family that spent

Thanksgiving 2013 here at Snowbird Creek Log Cabin.

Rob & Robin.

We truly had a wonderful time at your Cabin over this

long Thanksgiving Weekend. The snow storm did nothing but make it better

and made for some interesting photographs of our Son, Daughter-in-law,

and grandsons in the Jacuzzi with the snow all around them. We were lucky

to be able to take a mountain hike at the Joyce Kilmer site which we would recommend

to all, including those not interested in strenuous hiking. The Cabin had lots of room and

was quite comfortable even when the temperatures reached the teens. It was great being

able to have enough room to actually have a family football game on your fairly level lot,

highly unusual in the mountains.

Our grandchildren enjoyed playing games and kicking the  ball around, while still being able to

explore the woods around the cabin and creek. Our dog even had a good time.

We have placed your web site in our favorites so don't be surprised if you receive an e-mail

from us requesting lodging again. Our son was impressed enough to consider

a side trip to your cabin with his family and some friends.

Good luck on all your endeavors. The Rose Family, Ed and Sally
